Joelle and Henrik are such a cute couple. When I first met them a few months ago I knew I wanted to photograph them. They are so beautiful and in love!…and they are getting married at Ulfsunda Slott in Bromma…where I got married 5 year ago! We had a mini engagement session this week in preparation for their big day and here are some of my favourites.
Such a wonderful midsummers day we had yesterday! At Christmas we all hope for snow and midsummer sunshine and it rarely happens. Yesterday though in Stockholm was a glorious sunny day, just as ordered, so we could be outside all day long. It was lovely. I think these photos of Hanna and Alice taken in Tullinge a few weeks ago on a late sunny afternoon have a lovely midsummer feel to them and thought it’s be nice to share them today especially since it’s also Alice’s names-day! Congratulations Alice (to mine too!)!

Len and Uffe have been together for a few years now but don’t have a great photo together. So, Len gave the best of birthday presents to Uffe for his big 5 0…a session with me! We met up outside Tullinge church one evening which is one of my favourite locations. It has beautiful open shade as well wonderful back-lit views in the evening sun. This session, a beloved photography session, was all about them, their love for each other and how happy they make each other. They were the perfect couple, like a wedding couple without the nerves of the day! It was fabulous to get to be with them as they opened up to each other (and me!) Uffe had treated himself to a beautiful sports car for his birthday so we drove down to the lake for some romantic shots at the waters edge as the sun went down. So, here are my favourite shots of this fabulous session!..proof that you don’t need to get married to treat yourselves to some beautiful photographs together.
A few weeks ago just after the wonderful weather we’d had, it rained…just when I was going to photograph 4 year old Felix with his mum and dad. Luckily it was only a little drizzle and that makes for the best light ever! Here are a few of my favourite shots of the session with this cheeky money and his lovely parents.

This weekend we had the coldest day in June for over 80 years! It was about 5 degrees and windy…not the best of days for a bride in a very summary Thai silk dress! Despite the weather Lina and Jake braved the cold, took shelter in Körsbärsparken in Tullinge which gave us a couple of square meters for their first look…and see how it turned out! Who needs sunshine?!! Seriously though Lina and Jake were so beautiful and so happy when they saw each other for the first time we just forgot about the rain there for a few minutes! Here’s a collection of the days photos and I hope it brings back lots of memories! If you are a Spotify user then I recommend this song while watching!
I must say thank you to Cherrie for being a great assistant in every sense of the word on this drizzly day! In fact the photos of Jake getting ready are hers!
Last week I had a fabulous early morning session with Karin och her lovely family at Rådsparken in Huddinge. They arrived in lovely coordinated outfits and looked amazing! They are such a happy family full of life and play and the cutest kids ever! I had such fun with them and their children and the photos are amazing…perhaps my best ever?! Or maybe it’s just my emotions taking over on Mother day! This session was actually a gift Karin received (I think for Elins Christening) but since I was unable to shoot during the second half of last year I couldn’t fulfil the gift. I of course found another fabulous photographer for her but she wanted just me and was willing to wait…what a compliment!
Rådsparken was a great location with beautiful backlit setting in the morning, has a great playground, a small farm yard with ponies, goats, sheep, rabbits etc that the little ones can stroke and feed. Perfect! My family came along too and we spent a couple of hours there ourselves after I was done. It was a lovely morning out and makes the perfect family activity after a shoot! We even bought sausages that we could grill ourselves on the BBQ that was ready for grilling!
Anyway, today it’s Mothers day in Sweden so I thought the first photo of this lovely family should be one of Karin and her lovely Anton laughing and hugging. It’s a picture every mother wants I’m sure!

Förra veckan hade jag en härlig familjefotografering i Rådsparken, Huddinge med Malmqvist familjen. Helt underbar var den!
Yesterday I photographed Alice sitting up in the long grass and blue flowers (I can never remember what these flowers are called so if somebody knows then leave a comment!). I photographed Oskar in the same place 2 years ago when he had just learnt to sit up and I was just waiting for these flowers to appear to have a similar session with Alice. Oskar had just learnt to sit up at the time and fell over a few times during our mini session, but Alice was a pro…but she has already been sitting by herself for a month already. I can’t believe she is 6½ months already! Another milestone is captured in these pictures (well the right hand photo in the second row…if you look closely)…Alice got her first two teeth last week! They both popped up on the same day just as she had a terrible cold. They are so cute! At the moment you can just about see them when she smiles wide but in a couple of weeks time they’ll be in full view I guess. Anyway, enjoy these lovely photos of my little sweetie!

The 19th of May was a beautiful day, not jut because Summer had arrived early but because was the day that Nicklas and Lotta finally got married!…after 16 years together and 3 children it was about time! They are from Tumba and chose the beautiful little church at Lida for their wedding so we of course made use of the stunning surroundings, a ski slope overlooking the lake for their wedding and family portraits. Lottas dress was probably the biggest I’ve seen. It was so beautifully detailed in a modern Barrock style that we just had to take a few traditional formal photos before moving on to the romantic and lively portraits. After 16 years together you’d think that Lotta and Nicklas would just be going through the motions but they were SOOO in love. It was as if they they were a new couple about to embark on a life together. They both radiated joy and love and I was tearful on several occasions during their portrait session. When Nicklas told Lotta what it was he loved about her all three of us girls were tearful (Lotta, me and my second photographer Anna!) I have yet to look through all of the 1500 photos of their day but I have a picked out a bunch which I think reflects them as a couple, as a family and their day. I helgen gifte sig kära Lotta och Nicklas i Lida Kyrka där jag fick äran att vara deras bröllopsfotograf. Det var en underbart vacker dag med deras närmaste familj, inte minst deras tre söta döttrar!
I recently took on the task of photographing the little ones at Timotej Nursery in Tullinge and it was great! I was a little unsure of how I’d manage to capture the essence of each child with so short time but it wasn’t a problem at all! I had a blast and the kids loved it! All the families will get to see 5-10 photos per child in a private gallery but some of the parents can’t wait and want a sneak peak! So while I’m busy editing all those images here are a few of my favourites of a few of the kiddies.

I recently photographed 6 month old baby Arvid from Tullinge. He’s just 3 days older my little Alice! At this age I’d expect to be photographing a baby laying on his belly, holding himself up with strong arms and IF I’m lucky, a sitting baby. But this little nipper didn’t keep still for a second because he’d recently learnt that he can use his feet and crawl around! It was so great to be able to capture this early milestone for his parents…and just check out his eyes, they are huge! I usually show parents a few shots in camera and I showed Arvids mum this first image and she said that it was really a typical ‘Arvid’ Expression!
