Last week I had the enormous pleasure of meeting Malte and his family for a special photography session. It was an Essence Vitae session. I am part of an amazing project involving 50 or photographers across the country and we photograph families with incurable life threatening illness for free. The focus of the session is on the family, the love they share, the happiness they find, a documentation of their life in a moment. We go home to the family and photograph them there.
