>Saturday 23rd May was the big day for Anneli and Jens! I had the good fortune to assist Juliana Wiklund photographing Anneli and Jens’s portrait session and wedding ceremony in Vingåker. It was a beautiful personal ceremony which meant I cried!..but only a bit! Here come a few of my first developed shots…
And last but not least, a fun shot of Juliana in action capturing the beautiful bridal couple. Check out Juliana’s blog for even more fabulous shots of beautiful Anneli and Jens! http://www.morethanwords.se/blog/
>I entered a photo in this years RSF (Riksforbundet Svensk Fotografi) competition for digital photos. The topic was anything we choose so of course my entry was a wedding photo! The jury was Sören Håkanlind (prize winning photographer) and Lena Kvist (journalist, even for Foto magazine). There were 793 entries and mine has been selected in the top 42 for exhibition at the annual RIFO conference! What a surprise!…I do love the shot!
>Huge congratulations to Monica and Markus!… and a big THANKYOU to Mattz Birath who invited me to assist him on his photo shoot of the wedding couple. It was a great experience to see how Mattz works and be there as a hired photographer rather than as as friend or family member doing the bridal couple a favour. Here are a few of my favourite shots. I hope Monica, Markus and Mattz like them.

This is a shot I took of a real wedding photoshoot when I was visiting Rome in September. The photographer saw me with all my gear photographing the streets of Rome at night and actually invited me to take some shots of my own of the couple… It was actually a little odd but great fun! The photographer had 2 assistants with remote flash guns in hand and the videographer too. No expense spared I guess. I liked this shot best with the camera man in shot too! I’ve made it B/W and added a vinette on the lower edge to balance the top half of the frame. What a dress eh?!
